The hall was fully decorated with lovely flowers……… The water fountain was at one place……… The decorations were at its best……….. All business tycoons were invited in the party…… Everyone in the family was very happy…….. They are bound to be happy two family friends were taking there relationship to next level……
It was an engagement of Maan and Geet…….
Geet was getting ready for the special day…… She was very happy…… The happiness could be seen on her face…… and also the nervousness….. She was in her on world…….. Maan was standing near the door and looking at Geet….. Geet started thinking about past……..
Flash Back
Mr Handa and Mr. Khurana were close friends….. Both were business partners as well…….. Mr. Handa had a very beautiful bubbly daughter name Geet Handa and Mr. Khurana had a very handsome son Maan Khurana……
Both being a very close friends Maan and Geet also were childhood friends. They both went to same school…… Maan and Geet just couldn’t stay without each other…… They use to share each and everything among themselves….. The things which were bought for Maan the same thing use to get it for Geet also…… But they use to fight like anything…..
The school was completed and they joined college…… They both went into different field…… so they were separated…..
Maan joined an Engineering college and so he went to different place and started staying in hostel……..
Geet wanted to become a Doctor so she went into Medicine……..
Though both were different field they use to talk for hours together and use to tell each other what has happened in college……..
Slowly and steadily every thing started changing….. Maan became very close to a girl in his college name Amaira…… and because of this Maan and Geet conversation reduced…
Geet called up Maan one day
Geet: Maan you seems to be busy nowadays…. Itne dino se ek bhi phone nahi……
Maan: Nahi Geet aisi koi baat nahi mai who actually exams nazdik arahe hai na isleye….
Geet: Exams to phele bhi ate the par tab bhi phone to ata tha tumhara aur jab mai phone karti hu to tum koi na koi reason deke phone rakh dete ho………. Tum kuch chupa to nahi rahe ho na……..
Maan: Actually Geet I like some one……..
Geet: What??????????? Kaun hai who???? And you fool itni badi baat tune mujhe batai nahi…… bus koi aur agaya life mai to apne purane dost ko bhul jane ka….. I am very angry with you I am not going to talk….
Maan: Geet listen to me first….. Actually when I was going to come for my vacations I was about to tell you….and humari dosti pe koi effect nahi hoga……..
Geet: acha theek hai but uska naam kya hai……..
Maan: Geet uska naam Amaira hai….. We both study in same college... she is a very nice girl….. and ha please Mom and Dad ko abhi kuch nahi bolna……
Geet: ha ha theek hai nahi bataugi aunty uncle ko…… but waise Amaira agayi hai to mujhe bhul na jana……
Maan: Kya Geet mai tumhe kabhi nahi bhul sakhta……..
They both talked for a very long time...... about their studies, about Amaira how Maan met her and also how they became friends….. Maan also teased Geet about how come you have not found anyone…… and ya waise bhi medical me to sare padako log hote hai……..
The days, years started passing by…… Geet also reduced her call to Maan thinking for not disturbing him…….. Geet started missing Maan a lot….. But she use to say that if Maan is happy with Amaira then its ok…. Geet was always in the impression that everything is well between Maan and Amaira…….. Geet and Maan both completed their studies…. Geet joined hospital and Maan returned back from hostel to join Dad’s business.
But Maan was not the same Maan when he went to hostel….. Maan had become a very serious person…. The family members became very tensed about Maan as Maan stopped talking to everyone at home…… He reduced to go any where………. He use to be always in his room…..
Mr and Mrs Khurana thought that something is wrong with Maan they need to talk to Geet about this…… may be she must be aware about it that whats wrong with Maan.
Mrs Khurana called Geet
Mrs Khurana: Geet beta aap Maan ko milne nahi aye aur kya aap logo me kuch jagda hua hai kya????
Geet: Aunty Maan wapis agaya and kab??? Jagda nahi aunty…. Mujhe to pata hi nahi hai Maan wapis agaya hai….. kya baat hai aunty aap pareshan lag rahi hai……..
Mrs. Khurana: kya Maan ne aap se baat nahi ki aur aap ko phone bhi nahi kiya…. Maan ko ake to 2 din hogaye….. Pata nahi yeh ladke ko ho kya gaya
Geet: Aunty aap chinta mat kijiye mai abhi ati hu aur Maan ki khabar leti hu
Geet reaches Maan home and ask for Maan…….. Mrs Khurana informs that Maan is in his room… Geet goes and sees Maan standing in the balcony in his self thought…….. Geet goes near him and calls Maan
Geet: Wha tumko aake 2 din hogaye hai aur meri yaad bhi nahi ayi ek phone bhi nahi kiya….
Maan turns around and says are Geet tum…. When did you come…….. I didn’t notice you…..
Geet: Jab aap apne girlfriend ke khayalo mai the tab..........
Maan gets super angry and says Geet naam mat lo uska…… Maan had tears in his eyes……… Geet realises that something is wrong……
Geet: What’s the matter??? Aunty was also telling that you are not talking to anyone……..
Maan: Nothing Geet
Geet: Ok Maan if you feel that I am no more your best friend then its ok and Geet was about to leave
Maan holds her back and says
Maan: Geet its not like that you are still my best friend and will always remain….
Maan tells Geet everything…….. He tells that Amaira never loved him….. She was only with him for money……
Geet: But how did you came to know about this???
Maan: One day I was just passing through the compound I saw Amaira with a guy to whom she was telling that apna kaam to hogaya Maan ko humne fasa liya aur ab hum uske paisa ka pura faiyda utha sakte hai….
Geet: Maan she doesn’t deserve you…… Why don’t you forget her and start your life afresh…….. you know Aunty is also so tensed looking at you….. Come forget everything and lets go out as we use to go earlier and have fun……….
Maan: No Geet you go I dont feel like coming
Geet tries to tell Maan a lot but Maan was stubborn on his decision…… The situation such arises that Maan screams on Geet and says Geet you will never know how much I am hurted and all girls are the same……. And mujhe mere hal par chod do…….. mujhe kisi jaroorat nahi hai……… leave me alone and you please leave from here……..
Geet tries to control her anger but finally Geet says If you keep on thinking about that incident you will never ever able to forget her and listen all girls are not the same…….. I am leaving and agar tumhe meri yaad aye to mujhe bula lena……….
Geet was very hurted by Maan harsh words and she stopped calling or coming to meet Maan……..
Both the families realised that something has gone wrong between Maan and Geet…… Geet was so hurted by Maan words that she fell sick….. Infact Geet had started liking Maan but didn’t say anything as Maan fell for Amaira….
One day Maan heard Mr and Mrs Khurana talking to each other about Geet as they were saying that Geet health is not improving at all……. Maan came near them and said…… Mom, Dad kya baat hai kya hua hai Geet ko…….
Mr. Khurana was also very angry with Maan as they were also aware how Maan had behaved with Geet as Mrs Khurana had heard everything…
Mr. Khurana: Maan aap ko kya karna hai jaan kar
Maan: Dad please tell me what has happened to Geet........
They tell that Geet is not well since the day she came to meet you….. Maan without listening ran to meet Geet at her home……
Mr and Mrs Handa were very worried about Geet’s health….. They saw Maan coming and they welcomed him and told him that Geet is not having any thing and she is in her room……..
Maan: Geet yeh kya hal bana diya hai tumne
Geet: are Maan tum yaha……
Maan: I am sorry Geet..... I hurted you that day and I know because of me this is your condition…..
Geet: No Maan friends ke bich me no sorry no thank you…….. I can understand your position at that time…….. But still I hold my view that you should forget her and move on with your life……….
Maan: I have already forgotten her…….. and bus bohot hogaya yeh philosophical lecture…… now get well soon……..
Geet: yes Maan…….. you go and take rest……I am fine
Maan: Sorry Maam I am not going to go anywhere till you are fit and fine……
Maan use to com everyday to meet Geet before going to office and after office and use to take care of her…….. Maan presence would feel Geet something and same was happening with Maan also…….. He use to become restless if he was not able to meet Geet cause of work pressure……
Geet health started improving and also started going to hospital for sometime…… Maan use to drop and pick up Geet everyday……… They both use to wait for each other………….
Both family realised that Maan and Geet were falling in love with each other………….. They were very happy with this………
One day Geet was standing near the table in her room and Maan came behind and screams on Geet ears…….. Geet loses her balance and was about to fall Maan holds her…….. Maan and Geet looks into each other eyes….. They just couldn’t take off there eyes from each other…….. Maan starts moving his hand on Geet face…….. Geet closes her eyes and the touch of Maan Geet feels something………. Infact both felt something………They both were loosing control over each other…… Maan was holding Geet face and they were very close to each……… Geet becomes conscious and tries to moves away from Maan…….. Maan holds her hand and pulls her back……..
Maan: Geet I cant live without you….. I don’t know how, when I started feeling for you the way I am feeling now…… I Love you Geet…. I Love You………
Geet: Maan leave me……….
Maan: Geet I can see the same thing in your eyes too then why are you hiding it………
Geet: Maan……..
Maan: Bol do Geet Bol do…… I cannot think of living without you…..
Geet says Maan I too love you…. Abhi se nahi bohot pehle se…..
They both hug each other……
This was witness by Mr Handa and before Maan and Geet could tell their family about there relationship…….. Both families gave surprise to them that they have fixed their engagement…..

Geet was thinking and smiling and Maan who was standing at the door and seeing Geet came near Geet and stood behind Geet…… Geet turned around and said Maan aap yaha……….
Maan: Ha Geet meri sohni ko mere alawa koi phele dekh sakta hai bhala….
Geet has that shyness on her face........
Both get down together for the ceremony…….. Both get engaged……
Jhud gaye 2 premi ek bandhan me……….
