Savitri just walks out of the room……..

Maan was fuming and his hand goes in his hand (self talk): Dammit….

On the other hand Geet was still crying and goes in the deep thought…..

Flash Back

Uncle Uncle where are you??? Geet was searching her uncle……….

Mr. Handa: Geet beta…… I am here only………..

Geet hugs her uncle and her happiness can be seen on her face…….

Mr. Handa: What is the matter Geet….. You seem very happy……

Geet: Yes I am very happy……..

Mr. Handa: Acha baccha ab aap apne uncle ko batyege ki why are you so happy……..

Geet: I came first in my whole university……… So I cleared my B. Arch……….I am a topper uncle…………..

Mr. Handa: I am very proud of you……….. Now I have something to tell you……

Geet: What uncle……..

Mr. Handa was little reluctant to talk Geet……

Geet could sense something wrong……..

Geet: What happen uncle??? You seem very tense………

Mr. Handa: Geet who actually there is a proposal for you……

Geet: But uncle I want to study further…….

Mr. Handa: But you can study after marriage also……. And beta now I don’t have much time……. You know very well that I am not going to live very long……

Geet (in tears): Don’t ever say that uncle…..

Mr. Handa: Truth will never change Geet………. And I am not telling you to get marry to some one unkown……..

Geet (wondering): Means????

Mr. Handa: It is none other than Maan beta…….

Geet facial expression changed as if the whole world has crushed down……

Handa’s and Khurana’s were family friend…… They were very close to each other…….. Both the family had decided that Geet will be daughter in law of Khurana family……..  After the death of Geet’s parents her uncle took care of Geet and was fully aware of this fact……..   

Geet was very close to Yash as Yash was a very lovely person…… he understand Geet in all manner…… Whenever Geet had any problem she use to go to Yash…….  Yash and Geet had a very good bonding……….

But with Maan Geet was never comfortable….. Maan was totally opposite of Yash…….. He always use to flirt around with everyone…… And God only knows how many girl friend he must be having….. She knew everything about Maan…… Whenever Geet use to go to Khurana’s house she use to make sure that Maan is not at home……. Geet could only see lust in the eyes of Maan……….

Geet was very scared of Maan………

Mr. Handa saw Geet into deep thought………

Mr. Handa: Geet Geet…… Where are you lost dear???

Geet: Uncle I don’t want to marry him………

Mr. Handa: But that was your parents last wish dear……..

Geet: But he is not like the one whom I always dreamt of……..

Mr. Handa: Geet….. Every girl dreams of the guy but you see the family is very well known to you and Savitri ji loves you a lot….. She treats you as your daughter and Yash, he is your best friend…….. And beta Maan is not bad by heart at all……… And if you get marry with Maan I can also die peacefully because I know you will be in safe hands…….. All will take care of you………

Geet (crying): Uncle…….. I wont be able to live without you………..

Mr. Handa: Geet tell me do you love someone else ………

Geet just nodded her head in denial……….

Mr. Handa: Then will you not fulfil your last wish Geet……..

Geet was not sure what to answer her uncle…… she want to fulfil her parents wish but does not want to marry Maan…….. Getting marry to Maan was making her uncomfortable……….

Geet was saying to her uncle: I want to fulfill mom and dad’s wish but marrying Maan……..  He is ………..

While they were talking Savitri and Yash enters the house………

Savitri: Only you can make him good Geet……..

Geet just frown hearing it………..  But Savitri continued saying: Geet no one would force you to marry Maan…… It will be completely your choice….

Mr. Handa: Savitri ji what are you saying???

Yash: Uncle, Mom is right…… then turning towards Geet,  Sweet heart yes Mom is right….. The decision is all yours……

Mr. Handa: But Maan is all set to marry her……

Geet(shocked): Means Maan is aware about the marriage……..

All nods in positive……….

No one had courage to say anything to Geet……

Yash said it: Geet Bro want to get marry with you…… May be loves you……

Geet: No never…….. Person like Maan can never love anyone……..

Mr. Handa (in an angry tone): Enough Geet…….. How much will you talk about Maan in such a fashion……… It is final that you are marrying Maan next month……….

Geet could not stop crying and went away crying to her room……

Savitri and Yash tried to stop Geet but Mr. Handa stop them by saying that she will be ok by tomorrow……….

Geet had decided she will not marry Maan…… She somehow hated Maan….. She had all the doubts of Maan’s character………  She had prepared herself to go against her uncle whom she loved a lot after her Mom and Dad……….

Geet never knew that another shock is waiting for her…… She got up in the morning with the courage to talk to her uncle and say that she will never marry a person like Maan……….

She goes in her uncles room as is shocked to see her uncle lying in an unconscious state………. She gets panicked

Geet (crying): Uncle Uncle………

But all in vain………

Geet with the help of the servant takes Mr. Handa to the hospital……

Doctors informed that her that he has little time left as the cancer has already spread over whole body…….. Geet is continuously crying…….. In the mean time Yash and Savitri along with Maan comes to the hospital as the one of the head servant had informed them about the health of Mr. Handa……

Geet goes and hugs Savitri……

Geet: Aunty ……… why no one told me that uncle is not well……I wont be able to live without him………

Savitri tries to console her…….. In the mean time Doctor comes and tells them that Mr. Handa wants to meet you all………

Geet immediately rush inside………. So does others……..

Geet: Uncle why did you tell me anything about it………

Mr. Handa: Geet Beta…… I don’t have much time…….. you have to make a promise to me……..

Geet: No you are not going anywhere…….. You will be fine very soon……..

Mr. Handa: Geet…… Promise me that you will marry Maan………

Geet looks at her uncle and then to Maan whose eyes were only talking about lust which she can see……..

Mr. Handa: Answer me Geet……….

Geet: I will uncle……

Mr. Handa looks at Savitri: Savitri ji please take care of my daughter….. Now Geet is your responsibility……….

Savitri comes near Geet and hold her and tells: Ji Geet ko kabhi koi takleef nahi hogi………

As if Mr. Handa only wanted to hear this…….. He rest peacefully………

Savitri took Geet along with her to KM to stay with them…….. Yash being best friend of Geet took care of her…….. Maan would try to meet Geet but Geet would avoid meeting him………

It was almost 25 days after the death of Geet’s uncle……..

Geet was standing in her room’s balcony when the sight just holded her….

She saw Maan was fully drunk but was still little conscious and a girl was giving all the support to him….. Infact the girl was completely hugging him and Maan was holding her from the waist………. She thought that she must be his new girl friend and they must be back from a disco……….

Geet just turned herself from seeing sight……..

After dropping him home that girl walked away………

Maan was going to his room and Geet was coming out of her room……

Maan gave a smirk smile to Geet……..

Maan: Hey beautiful……

And started walking towards Geet……

Geet was getting scared……: She manage to spoke…. Maan you are drunk…..

Maan: But Geet you will now have to accept my habit…… You are going to be my wife…….. So you will have to be accustomed to all this things…….. I am going to make you mine very soon…….. I am been waiting for this so long………….

Geet all scared just ran away from there without listening anything further……..

Finally the day of the marriage came……. Geet did not wanted to get marry but she had promise her uncle and it was her parents last wish……  It was just a small family affair as Geet did not want it to be large……..  Geet was very uncomfortable with all the things which was going on……… and finally they got married……..

Flash Back ends

Geet who was in her deep thought…….. her thought was broken when a hand felt on her shoulder….. She got scared and moved back…… But relief came on her face when she saw Yash standing……

Yash was aware what Geet was going through because of his own brother……  and his Mom had told Yash what Maan did to her……..

Geet immediately hugged Yash and started crying…… He let her cry her heart out………..

Geet: I am missing Mom today….. Yash

Savitri: When I am there with you you don’t have to miss anyone…… Am I not your Mom dear……….

Geet released herself from Yash and look at Savitri……..

Savitri puts her hand on head and moves it to her hair: Geet till the time I am there…….. Nothing will happen to you….. Now onwards you will stay in this room………

Savitri hugs Geet tightly……..
