PART - 22
Geet was so scared that she did not
react at all…….. and She fall unconscious………….
Maan
touch her forehead and saw that she has again developed a high fever…….
Maan without thinking for a second immediately called for a doctor......
Maan
saw that she was even shivering because her clothes were wet……… Maan did not
know what to do……. Whether it will be right to touch her as there is no
relation between them……….. The receptionist had told that the doctor will take
time as it is already late night…….. He was totally confused what to do…… what
if she misunderstood him…….. what if she thinks that I took an advantage of her
situation………. But I cannot leave her in such a situation also……….
She is shivering so much…….
The
confusion was going on in Maan’s mind………. While the confusion was going
on………. He heard Geet murmuring in her sleep……..
Geet:
leave me please leave me…. Don’t come near me………….
Maan
immediately went near her and saw her eyes were closed………
Maan:
Geet Geet……. Don’t worry see you are in the room……
Maan
kept his hand on her hand…….. She hold his hand tightly and kept on
mummering………. He saw that her fever was increasing……….
The
confusion in his mind was still the same………
He
heard a knock on his door and he immediately went to open the door to see
doctor and Manager of the hotel standing………
Maan
just yelled at doctor: Is this the time to come……… It is already been ½ hour
since I called for you…….. You know how much fever she is having……….
Doctor:
If you keep on screaming at me like this on the door itself then how will I
check……….
Maan
immediately took the doctor inside the room….
Doctor
checked her and noticed that she was shivering and was still murmuring to
herself ……..
Doctor:
I think she is scared of something which has caused her fever….. Some incident
has deeply affected her…… She is not able to forget that…… Anyways I am giving
her the injections and medicine she should be fine by tomorrow……… and yes Mr.
Khurana if possible make her change her clothes which is completely wet……..
Otherwise the fever may increase……….. and yes you will have to take care of
her………
Maan
just nods his head and doctor leaves….. still Maan’s position was as he was…..
He
tried to wake her up……..
Maan:
Geet Geet……..
Geet:
hmm……
Maan:
Geet please get up…….. Please Geet………
Maan
was for the first time was feeling helpless…….. After like 10 minutes of
Maan trying to make Geet open her eyes…… she finally did it……
Maan:
Geet please change your clothes…… you are totally wet…. Otherwise you will fall
more sick……..
Geet
was trying to get up and Maan supported her and gave her his long kurta…….
Maan
led her to the washroom and told her to keep the door open……..
Geet
somehow managed to change her clothes and came out and saw Maan standing
there…… The medicine was affecting her……… Maan did not think for a second
and carried her in his arms and led her to the bed and made her sleep….. Maan
tucked her with the spread………. The A/c was already put off by him………
After
doing this Maan was lost in the beauty which was sleeping in front of him……..
He very reluctantly moved away and went towards the couch to catch some
sleep…….. He kept looking at her and went to sleep……..
In
the middle of the night his sleep was broken by the scream of Geet……..
He
immediately went near her and saw that she was screaming in her sleep…….. The
two incidents which happened had scared her lot….. She was trying to forget the
incident which happened at the party and then again the guys teasing her on the
beach……….
Maan:
Geet, don’t worry I am there beside you…… you sleep nothing will happen……….
Maan
was caressing her head with his hand to make her go to sleep again…… so that
she becomes quite…… He kept on doing this and even he did not know when
he drifted to sleep near her……….
The
morning sunrise made Geet open her eyes…… The medicine had done its work……..
She was feeling much better…….. She saw that Maan was just sleeping on
the sitting position besides her………
She
had somewhere in her heart developed a feeling in her heart but was not ready
to accept…….. She was lost in him………. She could see the handsome person near
her….. She wanted to touch him, feel him but something in her was stopping
her…….. She tried to get up from her bed slowly so that she does not disturb
Maan but the little movement by her made Maan awake……..
Maan
(with full of concern): Geet how are you feeling………..
Geet:
I am better sir……….
Maan
immediately touched her forehead and noticed that the fever has actually
decreased………
Geet:
sorry sir and thank you sir……..
Maan
looked at her with confused expression………: For what???
Geet:
Thank you for taking so much care of me……….
Maan:
and sorry for what???
Geet:
Because I always make you in trouble…….. I don’t know if yesterday you would
have not been there then what would have happened……… This is the second time
you saved me from such a situation (tears started flowing)…….. If something
would have happened I think I would have died……….
Maan
kept his palm on her mouth: Geet never say that……..
Geet:
Thank you sir…. Thank you……….. she hugged him and tears were not ready to
stop……….
Maan
hugged her in return………. And told her to calm down………..
After
like some few minutes Maan saw that she has calmed down……
Maan:
Geet lets have breakfast and you need to have medicine also……..
Geet
moves back and just nods her head……… : I will freshen up……
She
was about to get up but noticed herself she was only in his kurta…. She
remembered that she had changed it at night…… But how would she go to her room
to change…….. Maan kept on looking at her…… He understood her dilemma……..
Maan:
Geet you don’t have to think so much…….. I will get your bag here……..
Saying
this Maan just left the room to get her bag from her room……… Geet just
kept on looking at him……
Geet
(self talk): Waise kitne bhi khadoos kyu na ho but he is really very nice at
heart…… He has a Heart of Sea…………… He has helped me so many times……… Ha mana
thode se khadoos hai, gussa humesha naak pe hi rehta hai………….. but he cares
also so much……….
She
was lost in the thought of the Maan when Maan told her to get ready………
She
went to the washroom and got ready and by that time Maan had already ordered
breakfast for them……….
Maan
also got ready to go to the clients place to sign the contract………
They
had there breakfast and gave Geet her medicine………
Geet
use to steal glances from Maan while having breakfast……… Maan did noticed that
and whenever Maan saw her she would immediately lowered her eyes and have
breakfast……..
After
their breakfast was done……
Geet
also got ready with the file and purse in her hand…… Maan saw and asked her……….
Maan:
Where are you going???
Geet:
I thought we have to go to the client’s office to sign the contract………
Maan:
Yes but you take rest…… It is just a matter of ½ hour….. you don’t have to
come……… I will finish it up and come……… and you better take rest………
Geet:
But sir………
Maan:
No but….. you take rest…… once I come back we will check out of the hotel as we
have late evening flight………..
Maan
leaves to go to the clients place and Geet sleeps for some time………
Later
Maan signs the contract and returns back to see Geet sleeping peacefully…….. He
allows her to sleep as still there was time for their flight………….
Maan
kept on looking at her……… the innocent face which was like an open book……… She
was so beautiful, so innocent but suddenly the expression changed on his face
when something came in his mind…… He said that even she was innocent, from her
face no one could make out that ever she would do this but she did it………
She destroyed No this innocence is only for the sake of showing……….
All are same…….. I cannot trust anyone now after I lost my Dev, my best
friend, my brother, my everything……..
His
thought was broken when Geet called him and asked him when did he came back………
how did the meeting go……… Did they sign the contract………
Maan:
Enough….. How much do you talk??? Everything is being done and now get
ready………. We have to leave……..
He
just moved away from there………
Geet(self
talk): What happen to him suddenly…… In the morning everything was fine………. I
can never understand him…… Chal Geet be ready otherwise one more round of
firing will start………
They
leave from Mumbai to go to Delhi
Precap: Geet happily making things for Maan ………..
Palak: Geet, I think you are in love……..and I am serious
this time…… Admit it Geet……….
