The sun was in full mood……. It was shinning at its brightest…… The birds were enjoying this morning……

Suddenly there was a loud voice

Lady: Geeetttttttttt…… Get up your alarm is ringing since ages…..

Geet: Bhabhi just 2 minutes……..

Pinky: No 2 minutes just get up its already 7.00 a.m

Geet: Hmmmm 2 minutes

Pinky: I think you forgot you had planned to go to airport to pick him up…..

Geet got up with a jerk and hit herself on her head……

Pinky ( to tease): its ok Geet you can sleep for sometime…. I will tell Adi that you go to airport Geet is not coming……..

Geet (irritated): dare you say this to him…..

Though Pinky was Geet’s bhabhi, they both were best friend since childhood…… They knew each other in and out………

Geet was getting ready…….. She was looking beautiful……….

Adi(screaming): Geet are you ready or should I go

Geet: Bhai coming……

She was in full hurry. She was looking beautiful as a fairy…. She was thinking will he be the same when he went from here or he will be changed……. She will be meeting him after so many years…….. My Maan is coming back……

Geet: I am ready……….

Pinky: Aare wha Geet you are looking very beautiful……….

Geet: I always look beautiful……

Pinky: O Ohh……… Why not Maan is coming after all……….

Geet: Bhabhi……… How much do you tease me…….. He is my best friend…..

Suddenly a voice came from behind…… Only Best friend

Geet turned around to see and scream Yashhhhhhhhh……..

Yash: Geet javab nahi diya tumne only Best friend…….

Geet: Uncle, Aunty, See know all are teasing me……….

Maan’s Dad and Geet’s Dad were best friend and that’s how Geet, Adi, Yash and Maan became friends……. In short they all were childhood friend………  Adi and Maan were of same age and both studied together…… But after the death of Adi’s and Geet’s parents they both combined there business and form a new company known as KH Company………. Adi use to help Maan’s Dad in business…….

Adi and Pinky met each other in college, fell in love and got married……

Maan had gone to London for higher studies…… He is returning back after 2 years…….

Geet and Maan share a unique relation among themselves…….. Yash is Maan’s younger brother and a good friend of Geet…….

Maan’s dad: Kyu ched rahe ho aap log sab meri hone wali bhau ko……..

Geet: Uncle you also started………

Maan’s Mom: Enough now………. How much will you all tease her…… But one thing s there now that Maan is back we will get Maan and Geet both engaged……

Geet became full red……. Yash did not leave a single chance to tease her…

Yash: So Geet Bhabhi……….

Geet: Yashhhhh

Finally Pinky came to her rescue….

Pinky: Chalo Chalo ……… pata chala Maan khud hi ghar agaya…….

Adi: Ha chalo…….

Adi, Yash, Geet and Maan’s Dad head towards airport…………

Geet was very excited to meet Maan…….. She was on cloud nine…….. She had decided that when he will return from London……… she will tell her what is there in her heart………..

By the time they reached airport Maan’s flight had already landed…….. Maan was coming out of the airport in full attitude……

Adi: Here he is…………

Yash who was standing near Geet……..

Yash (pointing finger towards Maan): Geet, Bro…..

Geet could see the sight of Maan…….. He was looking more handsome…….. Geet’s heart beat started beating fast……..

Geet (self talk): Geet behave……. Why are you so nervous……. You are not meeting him for the first time……

Maan: Hey hiiiiiiiii

Maan’s Dad came and hug him tightly which was followed by Adi and Yash……

Geet was waiting for Maan

Before she could go before him she heard a voice………

Voice: Maannnn

Maan: Ya dear…….

Maan introduce her to everyone

Maan: She is Tina…. We use to stay in same apartment………. And She is my very good friend……….

Maan’s hand was on her waist……….

Geet had tears in her eyes but somehow she felt that her heart has sunk…. She somehow controlled herself but the tears did not go unnoticed by Yash, Adi and Maan’s Dad…….

Yash holded Geet by her shoulder and was about to say something but Geet stopped………

Adi: Maan how are you???

Maan: I am fine Adi, how are you and where is Geet……

Geet who was standing behind came forward with a smile on her face……. But her heart was still crying……..

Maan: Hey Geet……… and hugs her……… Kitni moti hogi hai tu…….

Geet had no words to say she just said ha nobody was there to scream on me to do exercise so………

Yash was not feeling good……..

Maan: Geet meet Tina…….. His hand was still on her waist…….

Tina: Hi Geet……..

Geet: Hi

Maan: Geet you have to take care of Tina……….

Geet just nods her head……..

Yash: Let’s go home Mom and Pinky Bhabhi are waiting……

Normally Geet would be seating with Maan in a car but today she opted to sit with Adi and Yash in other car………

In one car Adi, Geet, Yash and Maan’s dad were there and Maan and Tina in other car……..

Maan: Geet where are you going………. You normally sit with me….

Geet looking at Tina and saying: No Maan you come with Tina I will go with them……..

Maan: but why???

Geet: I have some work in a way…… and you both must be tired also….. I don’t want you to stop the car in between for me……….

Tina: It’s ok Geet……. We can stop the car and you can finish the work……

Yash: No need…. Geet lets go……..

Adi: Yashhh

They all head towards home……. Geet was silent in the car……..

Adi: Geet In the evening we will go to your favorite restaurant……. What say uncle………

Yash (to lighten the mood): Ya Adi bhai…… brilliant idea…… but ice cream will be of my choice…..

Maan’s dad: Ya why not……..

Geet: Ya we will go…….

They knew that Geet is just trying to hide her emotions……….

They reached house……

Maan’s mom: How come Geet is with you all……. Where is Maan

Maan came from behind and hugged her

Maan: Ya mom I told her to come with me but she refused

Pinky noticed the change in behavior of Geet……..

Maan: Bhabhi how are you

Pinky: How are you Maan

Maan: I am fine

Maan: Mom, Bhabhi meet Tina

They both noticed how close Maan and Tina were……. And understood the reason of change in Geet’s behavior………

Geet went running to her room……..

All became uneasy seeing Geet……..

Maan: What happen to Geet……..

Adi: She must be tired……….

Maan: Tina dear you also must be tired….. why don’t you take rest……..

Pinky showed tina her room and went to Geet’s room…….

Geet was sitting on the window and was crying looking outside…..

Pinky went and sat beside her……..

Seeing Pinky, Geet immediately wiped her tears but Pinky stop her from doing it and said: let it flow Geet……

Geet immediately hugged Pinky and started crying……

While crying Geet was saying: Why Bhabhi it happens with me always…… Whomsoever I love they just leave me and go……. First Mom and Dad left me, you and bhai  are also going and now he also……..

Pinky: We are not going anywhere………

Suddenly a voice came from behind

Dare you say such thing again……

Geet and Pinky turned and saw Maan’ mom, dad, Adi and Yash were standing

Maan’s Mom: Geet dare you say such thing again understood…… are we not your parents…….

Yash: and how did you think that you are alone…..

Adi: Geet….. me and Pinky are not going anywhere leaving you……..

Days started passing by……. Geet use to avoid Maan….. She would talk only if it was necessary……….

One day she was passing through Tina’s room where she heard some words like engagement, and she heard that I will talk to Mom about it……..

Hearing this Geet just lost it and went to her room and cried for god knows how many hours…….

Geet decided in her mind that she won’t be able to stay here anymore so she will leave to Mumbai and will take care of the office at Mumbai of KH…..

She also spoke to everyone except Maan. First they rejected her proposal of going to Mumbai but after much of convincing they agreed………
